Customs? At first, it doesn't sound like AI.
That's what we thought too.
In 2021, Leonie, Philipp, and Hendrik teamed up out of curiosity. Because when someone said, "AI in the customs sector? That won't work," our interest was piqued.
What we found was a perfect use case: a complex classification system, a tariff tree with countless rules and exceptions - and ongoing changes. That intrigued us!
What began as an experiment turned into a journey: four weeks turned into two years of research and model training. Today, it works. Our models mimic the decision logic of customs experts and help companies navigate through tariff systems and regulatory requirements - faster, more consistently, with less effort.
